Nessaru – Jeanneau Sun Charm 39
Jeanneau Sun Charm 39 for sale in Grenada. Jeanneau has a good reputation for building yachts with good sail performance, construction quality and safe and comfortable cruising. This Sun Charm 39 is no less. With her three-cabin layout she is very suitable for family cruising. Either in- or offshore.
NESSARU is a 1990 version and is in excellent condition for her age. She has had just 2 owners from new and is a strong seaworthy yacht with a GRP/Kevlar composite hull, with no osmosis. The interior is light and airy with a good layout which includes three cabins, two of which have ensuite heads/bathrooms. In the latter half of 2023 and first quarter 2024, the yacht was extensively refurbished in preparation for a trans-Atlantic crossing. The works included the hull, cutless bearing and stern gland, propellor shaft realignment, rudder refurbishment, and new Tru Design sea cocks. All of the stainless-steel standing rigging and most of the running rigging were renewed, the Mainsail and Genoa were replaced with new sails, and a new spray hood was installed. The anchor has 50 metres of new chain cable marked up every 5 metres.
The upgrade included a new Plastimo 4 person Transocean liferaft, two solar panels, and a Raymarine EV200 autopilot. The extensive inventory includes an inflatable dinghy and Suzuki outboard motor, both in excellent condition. For navigation and communications, the yacht has an AIS/GPS transceiver and a new VHF radio with DSC and GPS, and an Iridium GO! satellite communications device. NESSARU would be an ideal yacht for exploring the Caribbean and beyond!
